The night sky looks finished. It is not. Every star here is real, its place measured by Gaia, a European Space Agency telescope that has charted nearly two billion stars from space. A star can be strange in two ways: pulled off its path by something unseen, or moving perfectly and still not adding up. We kept the ones that could not answer cleanly.
